Be vigilant when you are at highly
visited areas by tourists.
Tips
-
Terrorists in many cases will look
nervous and out of place and do not behave like others.
-
They may appear to be preoccupied and
on the outlook (for police).
-
If they are focusing in on one thing
- that very well could be the target.
-
If you are at a tourist site, always
ask yourself what if so and so happened. Where would be my escape to
safety be? You will be much better prepared if something does
happen.
-
In many cases if you had to make a
run for it, sandals could slow you up and contribute to hurting
yourself. Always wear full covered shoes when visiting tourist
sites.

According to the SNCF rail authority, vandalism
has struck the high-speed train line between Paris and the Mediterranean
coast. A 500 foot section of electric cable was burnt. This cable
operates the train's signal programs between Ais-en Provence and Lambesc.
Trains had to be converted to a slower track and was
causing wide spread delays. Sabotaging of France's trains lines is quite
common by vandals. There are some sources believe that union members are
often behind the sabotage of the train lines.
