Japan Travel - New Entrance Requirements
If you are travelling to Japan there will be new entrance requirements for all foreigners ages sixteen and older. Beginning in November 2007, will be required to be photographed and electronically fingerprinted. This is in part due to Japan's effort to curb acts of terrorism.
Did you know there are between 700,000 and 900,000 Koreans residing in Japan. Between 1910 and 1945 Korea was a Japanese colony.
Japan Safety Issues -
There are very strict laws in Japan in regards to possessing dangerous weapons. Even a Swiss Army Knife could land you in trouble. Knives that are 8 centimeters long and 1.5 centimeters in width and a thickness of 2mm are prohibited.
Number for Police throughout Japan is 110 and an ambulance is 119.
