Main Square - Loja, Ecuador maintains a town square as many of
the cities in Ecuador. Most of the buildings on the square in
Loja have had changes made to them throughout the years.
However, they still retain their colonial heritage.

Central Bank Museum - The museum displays numerous
archeological items from the Macara and Catamayo cultures. Here you find one
of the world's largest collections of Romanesque art. Many of
the works were acquired obtained from churches in the catalonia
region in the 1920's.
Lourdes Street - This is a rustic cobblestone street
situated between Bolivar and Sucre streets. It represents an
outstanding example of colonial architecture adorned with wooden
balconies. The Cera neighborhood is occupied by a number of
stores specializing in hadicrafts and ceramics.
Museo de la Música - Loja has long been a bastion for
providing some of Ecuador's best musicians. You will find
numerous instruments and memorobilia of musicians from Loja.
Located at Bernardo Vadevieso 09-42 y Rocafuerte.
Reynoldo Espinoza Botanical Garden - Established over
50 years ago and part of the university in Loja, it is among the
highest altitude gardens in the world. Located about 5 km from
the city - southern section. Over 1000 plants and trees native
to the region are exhibited.
Cisne-Virgen del Cisne - Located 40 miles from Loja is
the religious city of Cisne, where the Virgen del Cisne resides
at an enormous basilica. Fiesta del Viergen commences on August
15th.

Museu Picasso - One of the more popular museums in
Barcelona, you will see a wide array of his earlier work. The
museum is set inside a medieval palace.
Barcelona Cathedral - Dating from 1298, it
is comprised of various architectural styles from the ages.
Palau de la Mucica Catalana - A wonderful concert hall to
over 300 performances a year, this is not to be missed. The
stain glass windows and in particular the ceiling inan inverted
dome which is surrounded by 40 angels.
Parc de la Ciutadella - This is indeed a tranquil repose
from the hectic city life of Barcelona. Constructed in the
1860's its design is to allow the visitor to experience nature.
The Hivernacle and Umbracle greenhouses presents a fine example
of topical vegetation.
